Stephen Kotowych and I will be editing the anthology GAME ON! for Zombies Need Brains, if the Kickstarter is successful. See the Kickstarter page below!

I’m doing some writing for this mythic cyberpunk game called Tokyo:Otherscape for Son of Oak Studios. (It’s doesn’t need to be set in Tokyo – the rules will accommodate any Megacity.) It was funded in 38 minutes! Check it out.
Another story of mine that’s now free to read at Intergalactic Medicine Show is “We Who Steal Faces”. Set in Venice 1558, it features a long-lived shapeshifter named Flea, a spymaster for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth. Flea is in many other stories as well.
Art work is by Jin Han.
Four of my stories are now free-to-read at Intergalactic Medicine Show. I’ll introduce one a day with some commentary.
“Tekkai Exhales His Avatar”
The bulk of this story was written in 24 hours at the Pasadena WOTF writing workshop in 2007, inspired by a trinket that KD Wentworth and Tim Powers gave out as a story seed. Mine was a small polar bear ornament. This was my first story at IGMS. My cousin I-Wei Huang did art sometimes for IGMS, so I asked if he could do the art for my story. So, we collaborated on the incredible tattooed arm illustration, which will always be my favourite. It’s also one of my rare purely science fiction stories, though full of mythological lore. Enjoy!
My newest story, “These Wondrous Sweets”, is out at Beneath Ceaseless Skies! It’s the fifth in the series about Candyman Ao. There’s an audio version by John Meagher, and it’s his fourth consecutive narration in the series. The story is standalone but can also be read as the next chapter of a continuing series. Enjoy!
